Quenepa, also known as Spanish Lime, is native to the American tropics. The thin skin is green and leathery. Its yellowish-white flesh covers a large brown stone. The Quenepa is soft and juicy, varying in taste from very tart to honey-sweet. It’s most often eaten fresh as a healthy snack or added to salads or desserts.
